Route Multi-sport Turrialba - Tortuguero

    There are many places where you can bike in Costa Rica and Turrialba is the area that Biking Adventures choose for you to enjoy of a direct contact with nature. You can ride your bike and enjoy crossing sugar cane plantations, macadamia nuts plantations, coffee, forest, the beautiful rivers, pretty small towns and its friendly people.

    We will visit a completely different area of our beautiful country, this is the Caribbean coast, Tortuguero National Park to be more precise, you can enjoy of boat rides in the world famous Tortuguero canals, where you will observe its Flora and Fauna.

3 days - 3 nights at Hotel Casa Turire - Turrialba

3 days - 2 nights at Mawamba Lodge Tortuguero

Day # 1 :

    The guests will be picked up in San José. We will continue to Paraíso de Cartago where our biking route begins passing by different small towns of the region finalizing in Hotel Casa Turire.

Day # 2:

   A bike ride in the area, climbing hills, passing through forest, crossing rivers, going into sugar cane and coffee plantations.

Day # 3:  

   Rafting in the Pacuare river, where you can appreciate wild life, while you experience adrenaline.

Day # 4:  

   Transfer to Puerto Astúa in Matina, to take the boat to Mawamba Lodge in Tortuguero, where you will enjoy of the hotel activities.

Día # 5:

   Boat tour in the Tortuguero canals. Boat Tour to Tortuguero hill where you will enjoy of a nice hike.

Día # 6:

    Fly back to San José. The vans will be waiting for you at the airport. Luggage is limited to 25 lbs. per person.
