Walk from the Rain Forest to the beach
Walking trough the forest and beaches of Costa Rica is a unforgettable experience, you will have the opportunity to watch a large variety of mammals, insects, ornamental plants, trees, flowers, etc. There are 850 known bird species in Costa Rica, you will hike near one of the most active volcanoes around the world. Iguanas, Toucans, Butterflies, monkeys, crocodiles and Sloths are some of the many animals that will could cross your path through this walking adventure, hiking from the green forest to the white sand beaches here in paradise. A experimental naturalist guide will teach you about this country and its beauty.
7 days – 6 nights
Day # 1:
We will pick you up in San José and begin our trip heading towards the town of La Fortuna de San Carlos and enjoy there of a delicious lunch and the hot springs at Tabacón. Relax for the day and enjoy.
Day # 2:
Early in the mourning, we take a walk in the Arenal Volcano National Park. You will see it close enough to here the fire rocks and lava falling from the top. Wild vegetation proper of the proximity to a volcano and birds along your way. After lunch we take a shuttle to Monteverde, one of the richest areas in Costa Rica in biodiversity.
Day # 3:
In the morning hike inside the Monteverde reserve (Cloud Forest), the afternoon is optional to the guests to do whatever you want to do on your own.
Day # 4:
From Monteverde to Tambor,
shuttle to Puntarenas to take the ferry that will take us from here to Bahía
Ballena and then Hotel Tango Mar
Day # 5:
Take a walk on the beach and visit the waterfall which comes from the forest and flows into the ocean.
Day 6:
Relax and enjoy at Tango Mar Hotel
Day # 7:
After breakfast take the plane back to San José. The van will be waiting for you at the airport.
